As a Security Officer Access Control in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
