Job description

Rope Access Electrician (Level 1, 2, or 3)

We are looking for a qualified Journeyman Electrician with IRATA certification and experience in heat trace to join our team on a 14/14 schedule. Fly in / Fly Out.

The Company

Our services encompass electrical engineering, heat tracing, removable blanket insulation, custom electrical control panels assembly, and industrial rope access โ€“ all available in-house. Moreover, we supply all the materials required for the initial build, installation, repair and maintenance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Read & interpret blueprints, Isometrics, and electrical schematics

  • Install & remove heat trace in accordance with specified standards

  • Working with power and hand tools

  • Electrical installs, wiring and cable pulls.

  • QA, testing and commissioning of electrical and heat trace components

  • Use of digital Work packages and quality documents

  • Participate collaboratively in work group.

  • Use of good problem-solving critical thinking and communication skills

  • Adherence with safety requirements and policies, LOTO etc.

  • Active participation in HSE Program

  • Ability to complete extensive in-house training program

Role requirements

  • IRATA Rope Access

  • Electrical Journeyman Certificate

  • Knowledge of electrical heat trace (EHT) installations and commissioning

  • CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), H2S Alive training

  • Valid driver's license - Driving record check (abstract)

  • High level Microsoft and computer skills required.

  • Familiarity with Procore or digital construction management software considered an asset

  • Knowledge with EHT control systems an asset.
