The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

As an Access Associate, a typical day might include:

  • Accurately schedule all patients in facility systems.
  • To accurately and promptly collect all pertinent information at the initial point of registration to insure the proper billing occurs, which will enhance timely cash flow and reduce the days in accounts receivable.
  • Performs all duties assigned by management.

This role might be for you if:

  • You are good at multitasking and customer service.
  • You have experience working within healthcare or other related areas which are customer service focused.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years previous office experience required

Preferred:

  • Direct knowledge of hospital procedures and medical terminology preferable,
  • Excellent secretarial skills including: written and verbal communications skills,
  • Typing skill of 60 wpm preferable,
  • Ability to transcribe from dictation equipment or handwritten notes a variety of information, and types into final from medical reports, letters and related documents,
  • Strong interpersonal relations,
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel,
  • Knowledge of Power Point and Access preferred,
