Robotic Process Automation Engineer

The Opportunity:

As a software developer, you know that good software is more than just a nice-looking interface + data. You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to help build a user-oriented solution. We're looking for a software developer like you to develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system, in an exciting, agile environment.

As an experienced software developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and resources to overcome your clients' most difficult challenges. You'll use your passion to master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements. You'll code and deliver solutions that support the current architecture and operating environment, as well as oversee future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience maintaining and making minor changes to existing applications or keeping those systems working in a sustainment mode within an Agile environment

  • 3+ years of experience with legacy enterprise systems and experience working in a microservices or distributed application environment

  • Experience with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, APIs, and cloud platforms

  • Experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks

  • Experience creating and testing modules and components for compliance to design specifications

  • Experience with UiPath platform, including in Studio, Orchestrator, Action Center, and Document Understanding, or Power Automate, including building cloud flows, desktop flows (PAD), and AI Builder models

  • Experience scripting in .NET, C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, React or Python

  • Experience writing SQL queries

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in software development in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Products, Microsoft Windows Server, or Microsoft SQL Server

  • Knowledge of relational databases and managing data connections

  • Ability to develop detailed program specifications and programs for software components

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
