Job description

Greenberg & Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is supporting the reopening of a newly upgraded and modernized Radiation Oncology center following installation of advanced Varian EDGE and Siemens CT simulation technology.
We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist with deep hands-on experience in advanced treatment planning environments to serve as the primary on-site physician.
This position is contingent on award, and timeframe is average 60 days. However, please apply now for immediate interview and consideration.
This is a long-term, full-time clinical leadership role for an experienced Radiation Oncologist who is comfortable independently managing consultations, CT simulations, treatment planning, treatment management, and follow-up care in a high-acuity oncology setting.
Role Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient consultations and pretreatment evaluations
  • Develop and manage goal-oriented radiation treatment plans
  • Perform CT simulations and supervise radiation therapy delivery
  • Provide weekly treatment management and patient follow-up
  • Participate in tumor boards, peer reviews, and quality initiatives
  • Ensure continuity of care for oncology patients in a technology-advanced environment

This opportunity is ideal for a Radiation Oncologist who enjoys working in a newly modernized, technology-forward Radiation Oncology department where clinical expertise and advanced treatment planning experience are highly valued. This is not a locum or short-term assignment - this is a long-term clinical leadership position in a refreshed, state-of-the-art treatment environment.
In addition to the full-time role, we are also seeking two experienced Radiation Oncologists for part-time, on-call coverage to support continuity of care within the department.
Location
On-site - Baltimore, Maryland
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (For Full Time)
Shared on-call rotation (evenings/weekends) (For Part time)
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (ABR)
  • Minimum 5 years post-residency clinical experience
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Varian EDGE Linear Accelerator
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with Eclipse Treatment Planning System
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with ARIA Record & Verify
  • Advanced experience with:
    • IGRT / Cone Beam CT
    • SRS, SRT, SBRT, IMRT/VMAT, 2D/3D Conformal therapies
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with Siemens SOMATOM go. Open Pro CT Simulator (or equivalent)
  • Ability to independently perform:
    • Consultations
    • CT simulations
    • Treatment planning
    • Weekly treatment management
    • Follow-up evaluations
  • Strong documentation and EMR proficiency
  • Current unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
  • Active DEA and NPI
  • Required to have a Green Card or U.S. Citizenship
Preferred
  • Experience participating in tumor boards, peer review, and quality improvement programs
