Job description

We are seeking a qualified Finance Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with 2-3+ years of post-qualified experience to join our finance team. This is a hands-on role managing accounting across 9 group entities in a multi-currency, US GAAP environment, ideally within financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the general ledger and post/review AP/AR invoices, journal entries (including payroll), revenue, and FX transactions.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, provisions, fixed assets, and depreciation.
  • Perform month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare management reporting packs (P&L, balance sheet, supporting schedules).
  • Conduct variance analysis and investigate account movements.
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring, intercompany reconciliations, and ensure audit-ready documentation.
  • Support external audits, including PCAOB audits, and maintain compliance with US GAAP.
  • Drive process improvements and maintain data integrity within financial systems (Odoo preferred).

  • ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP; PCAOB and SEC reporting experience advantageous.
  • Experience in multi-entity accounting, month-end close, management accounts, and variance analysis.
  • Confident in Excel and accounting systems (Odoo or similar SaaS environment).
  • Experience with multi-currency/FX transactions.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, able to manage deadlines independently.
