OVERVIEW


The Finance Manager / Head of Finance plays a critical role in the organization by overseeing financial strategy, planning, day-to-day financial matters, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and maintaining robust financial controls. To provide financial advice and support to colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide financial insights to senior management, influencing business strategy.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.
  • Track and monitor actual performance against targets with key variance explanations.
  • Financial Reporting: Overall accountability for accurate and timely financial statements and reports to stakeholders.
  • Corporate Governance & Compliance:
  • Oversee overall corporate governance of the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, corporate secretarial matters and internal policies.
  • Reviews, develops and implements internal controls, operational procedures and documentations.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage working capital and cash flow.
  • Cost Control & Efficiency:
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability.
  • Support operations in inventory management and cost variance analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Stakeholders Management: Liaises with banker, corporate secretary, tax agent and external auditors.
  • Assists in ad hoc projects as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Degree in Accountancy / CA / CPA / ACCA or its equivalent.
  • At least 4-8 years’ experience in commercial/audit experience.
  • Relevant F&B experience in hotels, restaurants, bars and lounges environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in systems implementation and setup. Working knowledge of POS (Micros), payment gateways, inventory management and costing systems, accounting and reporting systems (SAP, Oracle FCCS).
  • Attention to detail and action-oriented.
  • Adaptable in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
