Job description

Position Overview:
TechBridge is seeking dynamic and dedicated Student Success Coaches to lead classrooms of 25-30 adult learners. Student Success Coaches play a critical role in ensuring a high-quality learning experience by providing individualized and group support to learners. Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with both virtual and in-person options available. This is a contract position, and compensation rates are commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage classroom environments, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Conduct one-on-one check-ins with learners to track their progress and address individual challenges.
  • Host group support meetings to promote peer collaboration and collective problem-solving.
  • Monitor, document, and report learner performance, including attendance, engagement, and progress.
  • Initiate and document intervention plans for learners facing challenges and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Connect learners with internal and external resources to address academic, professional, or personal needs.
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners to encourage their development and achievement of educational goals.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly updates to stakeholders on class progress and learner performance.
  • Actively collaborate with program staff to enhance curriculum delivery and improve student outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a teaching, coaching, or mentoring role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and technology tools.
