    Rhinologist – Skull Base Surgeon

    Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Rhinologist – Skull Base Surgeon to be primarily based at Rush Copley Medical Center.

    The Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a rhinologist with clinical expertise in sinonasal disorders and advanced rhinologic cases to provide high-quality patient care to the diverse community of the greater Fox Valley region at Rush Copley Medical Center. Fellowship training in advanced rhinology is preferred. The candidate will have an opportunity to build a thriving community practice that encompasses full breadth of rhinology. Some comprehensive otolaryngology is expected during the early stages as the rhinology practice develops.

    Rush Copley Medical Center, a 210-bed community hospital in Aurora, IL, has been serving the region for over 130 years. As part of the Rush University System for Health, it integrates community-based care with academic resources, promoting clinical research and medical education across specialties. Rush University Medical Center has been recognized nationally as a leader in quality care, patient safety, and academic leadership.

    The ideal candidate will join a thriving Otorhinolaryngology department with a commitment to clinical excellence and scholarship. This individual will collaborate closely with four fellowship-trained rhinologists that practice across the health system and contribute to the academic missions of the section. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative and academically oriented team, balancing community-focused care with opportunities for professional growth through education and research.

    Position Highlights:

    · Clinical Focus: Provide high-quality patient care in rhinology and comprehensive otolaryngology at Rush Copley Medical Center.

    · Community Impact: Serve the greater Fox Valley region, delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.

    · Collaborative Team: Join a section of four fellowship-trained rhinologists leading the neuro-rhinology fellowship program.

    · Research Engagement: Participate in research projects within the rhinology division, contributing to academic publications and clinical advancements.

    · Education and Mentorship: Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows, advancing Rush’s academic mission. Appointment as the rank of Assistant Professor with opportunity for academic advancement.

    Candidate Qualifications:

    · MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.

    · Board eligibility or certification in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

    · Fellowship training in Advanced Rhinology desired.

    · Experience or strong interest in full breadth of rhinology.

    Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. Additional compensation may include sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

      Pay Range : $450,000 - $675,000 (TCC)
