Academic Analyst
Washington, DC | Full-time | Contingent upon contract award

Job Description
Safal Partners is seeking an Academic Analyst to support a federal workforce development contract. This role focuses on academic performance monitoring and reporting within a large-scale workforce program, including analysis of assessment data, credential integrity, and English language proficiency metrics. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background and experience working with structured academic data in a federal or education context.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyzes academic performance data including HSD/HSE integrity reports, TABE, CASAS, CLAS-E, and English Functioning Level (EFL) metrics
  • Develops monthly, biannual, and annual reports summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Identifies trends, gaps, and areas of concern across academic performance indicators
  • Supports development of data visualizations, dashboards, and summary materials for stakeholder review
  • Assists with quality control and validation of incoming data submissions
  • Prepares meeting materials, talking points, and follow-up documentation related to academic performance workstreams
  • Supports internal knowledge management and documentation of analytical processes and methodologies
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2–5 years of relevant experience performing structured program support or data analysis tasks
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite in Washington, DC
  • Knowledge of and experience analyzing HSD/HSE integrity reports, TABE, CASAS, CLAS-E, and EFL metrics
  • Experience in consulting, research, education, workforce development, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with platforms such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • All contractor personnel must pass a background check with no evidence of federal, state, or local felony charges or convictions prior to assignment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting federal or state-funded initiatives
  • Familiarity with Job Corps or similar workforce programs
  • Experience with data visualization tools or reporting platforms
