Academic healthcare system seeking a Rheumatologist for Saginaw, MI! (1.5hrs to Detroit)

  • 268 bed, non-profit, academic medical center located in Saginaw, MI.
  • ASM is an accredited level II trauma center and a certified primary stroke center.
  • A full complement of surgical and medical specialty support is available
  • Multispecialty group to include, hospitalists, endocrinologists, rheum, psychiatrists, and more
  • This role includes resident and medical student education, as well as faculty clinic.

Job Description:

  • Rheumatologist
  • Location: Saginaw, MI (1.5hrs from Detroit)
  • This is a Rheumatologist faculty position at the instructor or assistant professor level. Associate professor level candidates are welcome to apply as well. 
  • Candidate will be mostly in outpatient faculty clinic. Additionally, medical student and resident education is expected. 
  • CARE model (one’s work effort allocation) to establish educational and or research allocation is commensurate with the individuals experience and skillset.  
  • Diagnoses and treats all types of arthritis and joint conditions as well as a variety of other musculoskeletal, autoimmune, and connective tissue disorders.
  • Open to Adult or Pediatric Rheumatologists


Requirements:

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible: Rheumatology
  • Ability to hold a Michigan state license
  • Desire to work in an academic setting
