Job description

Description:

Are you the kind of person who eats, sleeps, and breathes tennis? Do you love helping players grow their skills, find their rhythm, and maybe even fall in love with the game for the first time? Then weโ€™ve got a spot for you on our court!

Ready to teach, coach, and inspire? Weโ€™re looking for an energetic and experienced Tennis Pro whoโ€™s ready to serve up expert instruction, build community on and off the court, and keep our racquets โ€” and our vibe โ€” in top shape.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing:

  • Teach private and group lessons to players of all ages and skill levels (from first-timers to future stars)
  • Lead and support adult & junior clinics each week
  • Help coach our growing junior program of 150+ eager young players
  • Organize match play opportunities, social events, and team practices
  • Co-captain our Junior Team Tennis (JTT) squads in the spring and fall
  • Offer top-tier advice on racquets, strings, and gear in the pro shop
  • Handle stringing services and help members keep their equipment court-ready
  • Assist with light court maintenance โ€” because no one plays their best on a dirty court
  • Support the Director with club events, tournaments, and USTA matches
  • Be a visible, positive presence on and around the courts โ€” youโ€™re the face of tennis at acac!

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Prior experience teaching tennis lessons is a must
  • Bonus points for USPTA or PTR certification (or interest in earning it!)
  • Comfortable working with everyone from tiny tots to competitive teens and adults
  • Passion for helping people love the game and grow their skills
  • Solid communication and leadership skills
  • 18 years or older and available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Ready to work outdoors โ€” even in that classic tennis weather (warm & humid!)
Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to actively participate in tennis drills, games, and full lessons
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for extended periods
  • Prepared to lift, bend, and stay on your feet through your shift

Expectations as an acac Team Member:

  • Be the kind of teammate who brings positivity to the court and clubhouse
  • Rock your acac uniform and represent the brand with pride
  • Keep your areas clean โ€” court cleanliness is a team sport!
  • Pitch in during Service Days and club events
  • Respond to member and team messages promptly
  • Check email regularly and stay in the loop
  • Read, sign, and live by the Team Member Handbook

Why acac?

At acac, tennis is more than just a game โ€” itโ€™s a community. Our pros donโ€™t just teach technique; they inspire confidence, encourage teamwork, and create unforgettable moments for our members. If youโ€™re ready to join a passionate team, grow your career, and make a difference on and off the court, we want to meet you!
