Job description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable vehicular AC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, with a strong background in automotive, fleet, and bus air conditioning systems. Candidates must be dependable, able to work independently, and experienced in diagnosing and repairing AC issues on buses and fleet vehicles.

Role Overview:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive climate control systems to ensure optimal cooling and heating performance while following environmental safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot leaks, electrical faults, and component failures using specialized gauges and scanners.

Replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.

Perform refrigerant recoveries, system recharges (evacuate and fill), and cabin filter replacements.

Safely handle and dispose of refrigerants according to EPA regulations (Section 609).

Requirements:

Certification: EPA 609 certification (required); ASE certification (preferred)

1 3 years of automotive HVAC repair experience.

Proficient with diagnostic tools, reading schematics, and mechanical repairs.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in tight engine compartments.
