As a Student - Absence Management, you will play a key role by carrying out various administrative tasks related to absence management, disability cases, and supporting the department's activities.

What you will accomplish with us
As a Student - Absence Management, you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and responding to new requests received in the team's mailbox;
  • Answering employee questions by phone or email according to established guidelines;
  • Following up with vendors regarding invoicing and ensuring invoices are processed;
  • Managing the opening and administrative follow-up of disability files, including activities in various systems such as employee records, notifications to external providers, updates to the main database, and departure notifications to managers;
  • Providing administrative support to the Global Health team in implementing improvement projects related to disability management and other related activities;
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of existing processes;
  • Supporting the team with any other related duties.

  • Is currently a student in a related field;
  • Is available to work a minimum of 21 hours per week during academic terms (daytime, Monday to Friday);

  • Has a strong customer focus and a high degree of professionalism;
  • Is recognized for their organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and commitment to quality work;

  • Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the individual will be required to communicate verbally and in writing, in the course of administrative duties, with English-speaking colleagues and internal and external partners across Canada on a weekly basis;
  • Has excellent French language skills, both spoken and written.
