S, Inc. has an immediate need for a Program Control Analyst 3 who will be a member of the corporate F&A team at our HQ in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

This is not a teleworking position.

Description: 

The Program Control Analyst provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems and provides project planning and control support for multiple contract reconciliation of costs between Deltek Costpoint and the contract workbook. Also performs other duties related to contract requirements and schedules.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Ensure accuracy of contract mods.
  • Enter and track data through SharePoint applications and maintain task products inclusive of an internal auditable notebook of task processes, product deliverables, and schedules. 
  • Maintain work plan in accordance with funding and LOE support.
  • Prepare Individual Work Authorizations for the staff to identify proper contract charge codes.
  • Provide projections to support company budget formation.
  • Reconcile with Costpoint and perform variance analysis.
  • Develop monthly performance and cost reports to meet customer deadlines.
  • Evaluate timecards in Deltek to ensure employees are properly charging and implement into work plans.
  • Manage employee travel request process including CONUS/OCONUS travel for employees traveling under company and Prime travel systems in compliance with FAR.
  • Access and manage entries in multiple time and accounting systems utilized by Prime contractors to support requirements for labor and travel charges to the incumbent's contracts.
  • Analyze the contract work authorization to develop the work plan for contracts.
  • Provides 12 month rolling forecast.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4 years of experience as a program control analyst.
  • 2 years of experience working with Deltek and Costpoint. 
  • Have at least 4 out of 5 level competency with Microsoft Office.
  • Have experience working with a federal contracting company.
