Working within dynamic teams ranging from small to large, this position involves local to national travel and offers significant growth potential within the engineering career track.
Responsibilities
- Maintain vessel integrity through routine and preventive maintenance
- Operate and monitor engine systems effectively
- Perform deck operations including cargo handling and navigation assistance
- Repair and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Assist in navigation and communication tasks
- Handle cargo securely and efficiently
- Respond promptly to emergencies onboard
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in marine engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical diploma in marine engineering
- ABS certification
- MMC and TWIC credentials
- Proven skills in vessel maintenance, engine monitoring, and emergency response
- Strong abilities in navigation support, cargo handling, problem solving, teamwork, and communication
