Job description

We Are Hiring

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Facility: Columbia St Mary's Milwaukee

Department: Neurodiagnostic Lab

Schedule: Days | Full-Time

What You Will Do
  • Perform set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test.
  • Review patient's history, obtain any necessary information or documentation and provides education to patient about procedures. Monitor and document patient's condition at all times and reports any adverse reactions.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data, which may include EEG (Electroencephalography), EP (Evoked Potential), and PSG (Polysomnography) equipment. Recognize and correct for artifacts.
  • Score/graph, document, and report results of diagnostic procedures.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Technologist specializing in Neurophysiologic Intraop Monit credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Technologist specializing in Evoked Potential credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Tech specializing in Nerve Conduction Study obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
