What You'll Do

The Clinician provides clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for youth experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges. This position plays a critical role in developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy, and supporting youth progress through a collaborative treatment approach.

Your responsibilities may include:

Clinical Services
  • Provide clinical services to assigned clients in accordance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Analyze client records, behaviors, and treatment outcomes to support effective care.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Complete timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, behavioral reports, and progress notes.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory and licensing standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA requirements.
Treatment Team Collaboration
  • Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Treatment Team (MDT) meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director, case managers, treatment supervisors, and education department.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to assigned case workers or behavioral health staff.
  • Support program goals and positive outcomes for youth.
Crisis Support & Professional Responsibilities
  • Respond to emotional and crisis situations calmly and professionally.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment.
  • Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree in a mental health-related field, including:
    • Social Work
    • Psychology
    • Counseling
    • Related behavioral health fields
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to manage emotional situations calmly and professionally.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with clinical documentation systems.
  • Ability to successfully complete federal and state background checks, including screenings related to child abuse, violent crimes, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and drug-related offenses.

Preferred

  • Two or more years of clinical experience.
  • Experience working with adolescents or in behavioral health settings.
