Worship Coordinator (Sylacauga, AL)

Purpose of the Job:

The Worship Coordinator assists the Campus Pastor, Campus Worship Director, and Central Worship in cultivating a life giving, passionate and skillful culture of worship at Church of the Highlands through the spiritual, musical, and technical leadership of full and part-time team, Highlands Dream Team and other people or groups as assigned by the Worship Pastor.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

Minimum of 3 years of worship leading and hands-on ministry experience in a local church.

Basic understanding and experience with audio, video, and lighting systems, equipment, and concepts

Effective pastoral and administrative leadership.

Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.

Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Proficiency in Ableton software.

Ability to learn and use Highlands systems - ROCK software and Highlands Financials.

Ability to learn and use Planning Center Online software.

Ability to learn ProPresenter, Ross Dashboard, BlackMagic, VideoHub, and various production platforms and equipment

Proficiency in voice, piano or guitar.

Ability to create, coordinate and lead a worship experience with a team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Music:

Worship Leader and instrumentalist for the Highlands campus.

Assist with the management of the Highlands Campus Worship team.

Assist with the coordination of Highlands Worship development at the assigned campus.

Assist with the scheduling of Highlands campus worship teams.

Assist with planning and implementing Highlands Worship projects and department goals at the campus.

Assist the campus Worship Director with team meetings, Growth Track and all other campus events/conferences.

Assist with building and leading a team that facilitates the campus worship development process and service execution.

Contact potential Dream Team members and help them go through the process of becoming a member of the Worship Team.

Assist in the care of the Highlands Worship Dream Team.

Participate and help accomplish major Highlands Worship projects and department goals as needed.

Worship leader and instrumentalist for Highlands services.
