Job description

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, Inc. is seeking dynamic professionals to join our team at a new developmental services home as Residential Behavior Interventionists. This rewarding opportunity allows you to support individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism as they achieve their goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide behavior support and promote positive skill-building.
  • Teach and assist individuals with daily living skills at home and in the community.
  • Support individuals in achieving greater independence and personal growth.
  • Assist with household tasks while creating a nurturing, supportive environment.

We are looking to fill the following shifts (updated February 2026):
  • NIGHT SHIFT 8PM - 8AM: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday
  • DAY SHIFT 8AM - 8PM: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday

The ideal candidate is flexible and adaptable to changing needs, solution-oriented, with a proactive approach to challenges, a strong team player, ready to collaborate and contribute, and committed to promoting dignity, respect, and independence for individuals.
Shifts will include one weekend day and overnight availability is a must.
