The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA office in the Lingo Division. Personalized healthcare is the future. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to understand and make decisions about their metabolic health - and help them improve their energy, lose weight or enhance their athletic performance. The Lingo team embodies a start-up culture and mindset with the backing of Abbott, a company with a rich history of healthcare innovation. Join us and grow your career as you help Abbott shape the future of healthcare.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll partner with Lingo Product, Engineering, Design and Clinical leadership to craft the Lingo product vision and strategy. The best product vision is only as good as what ships to our customers - so your work on exciting new products and features will span inception through to launch. Along the way, you'll build an in-depth understanding of our customers and their needs, work across the Lingo team, and represent Lingo with Abbott leadership, external partners, and the press.

What You'll Work On

  • Partner with Product leadership to set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of Lingo
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our customers and their needs. Use this knowledge to challenge the status quo, find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas to identify and fill product gaps, grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Partner with Product leadership to establish each feature's user and business value. Support messaging, communication and customer outreach.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, data science, clinical, marketing and regulatory to realize the product vision
  • Translate the product vision and utilize market and industry knowledge to develop detailed requirements, stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Exercise strong decision making by scoping and prioritizing activities based on customer and business impact.
  • Define and own end-to-end delivery strategy from inception to production (product features, roadmaps, and OKRs).
  • Meet with stakeholders to regularly review and report on progress, including impediments that need attention.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and "ownership attitude" while working closely with design and engineering teams to deliver the best experience for our users.
  • Manage product lifecycle: analyze product performance, manage improvements, additions, and updates; shepherd the product throughout its lifecycle, from launch through sunsetting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience as a product manager at a consumer tech company or organization
  • 2 years of experience taking well-loved features or products from conception to launch
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, marketing, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Experience launching mobile apps in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience using customer research, insights, and data to drive decisions
  • Experience presenting to and influencing internal and external stakeholders, at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Engineering, MBA or another advanced degree
  • Strong experience building, launching, and scaling consumer-facing mobile applications (iOS/Android), with a deep understanding of mobile UX patterns, engagement, and retention drivers
  • Hands-on experience partnering closely with Design using tools like Figma, with a strong eye for mobile UX/UI, user flows, and in-app interactions
  • Experience defining and optimizing mobile metrics (e.g., activation, engagement, retention) using data, experimentation, and user insights
  • Familiarity with mobile development constraints and best practices (performance and app store releases), enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams
