Global Payroll Lead


Join ABB Robotics at a pivotal moment-as we establish ourselves as a standalone global leader in automation. We're seeking aTime & Attendance Transformation Business Analystto champion organizational optimization and build robust global governance across time & attendance. In this role, you'll translate our global payroll and ELC strategy into reality-designing and aligning systems, processes, and people toward a unified target operating model. Reporting directly to the Global Payroll Transformation M&A Lead

This will be a global role with hybrid or remote model of work. Preferred candidates are from Europe, specifically from Krakow, Poland or Madrid, Spain or Bangalore, India.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define & Govern: Establish global time & attendance processes while intelligently navigating local country deviations based on policies and regulations
  • Lead Transformation: Drive impactful T&A transformation initiatives and process improvements that shape the future of how ABB operates
  • Build Smart Solutions: Gather, analyze, and document requirements for key solutions, collaborating closely with IS to design optimal, scalable systems
  • Champion Implementation: Leverage your SME expertise to lead system implementations-from establishing testing methodologies to identifying critical change management activities
  • Connect & Streamline: Bridge business, HR, and IS teams to eliminate friction and unlock process efficiencies across the organization
  • Measure What Matters: Design and monitor KPIs that empower HR to proactively identify compliance risks and seize improvement opportunities

Qualifications for the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in "Day 1" environments and understands the nuances of a shared services landscape.

Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-8+ years' experience in HR processes and/or transformation initiatives
  • Proven track record transitioning people and process structures into shared services models
  • Strong background designing global HR tool functionalities and standardized processes
  • Expert-level experience with Workday interfaces and system enhancements
Essential Qualities:
  • Exceptional stakeholder management across all organizational levels
  • High accountability with a proactive, partnership-driven approach
  • Meticulous attention to detail paired with strong execution discipline
  • Fluent English communication
  • Ability to work flexibly across global time zones
  • Openness to travel for workshops and key project milestones
