Responsibilities
The Department of Accounting in the Dillard College of Business Administration at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time 9-month tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor to begin Fall 2026.
Full-time faculty members teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Face-to-face and online teaching are both expected. In addition to the administrative and teaching duties, the successful candidate will engage in scholarly activities leading to the maintenance of faculty qualifications in accordance with the Dillard College of Business Administration's faculty qualifications policy. Salary is competitive.
Requirements
Required Qualifications include:
1. A Ph.D. in Accounting or related discipline awarded by an AACSB-accredited university. If ABD, the Ph.D. must be completed by August 17, 2026.
2. Track record of excellence in teaching (including online) in a broad array of basic and advanced accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.
3. Demonstrated research and other intellectual contributions consistent with AACSB standards
While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to applicants holding a current CPA designation.

Requires the ability to maintain positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the community. Personal cell phone usage may be required to complete position duties, including multi-function authentication requirements. Regular reliable attendance is required.
