What is an ACFM?

ACFM inspectors are professionals who use Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM) technology to detect and size surface-breaking cracks in metals, such as welds and structural components. Unlike traditional inspection methods, ACFM does not require direct contact with the metal or the removal of protective coatings, making it efficient and non-destructive.
