Job description



Under the supervision of the T&A Hookin Supply/Prime Industries Operations Manager, this full-time position will be responsible for selling towing/truck supplies. This highly motivated, self-sufficient sales representative is expected to be a โ€œwalking exampleโ€ of the organized professional and "the face" of T&A Hookin Supply/Prime Industries. This individual will be assigned a work truck (box) stocked with towing and truck supplies.


Requirements:
  • Must have at least 3 yearsโ€™ of sales experience
  • Must be able to drive a box truck
  • Must have excellent customer etiquette and communication skills
  • Have the ability and desire to form a close working relationship with customers
  • Must have, and keep current, a USA issued driver's license with a clean MVR
  • Become knowledgeable about all products and supplies being sold
  • Clean, manage, and maintain the vehicle assigned
  • Perform duties during regular working hours and when circumstances arise, additional duty time required to complete a call or task requested by management
  • Must be capable of frequent walking, standing, kneeling, stooping, heavy lifting, and carrying at least 40 pounds
  • Must be willing and able to work outside in varying temperatures, on slippery or uneven surfaces as needed
  • Responsible for competent completion of daily preventative maintenance checks and assuring proper inventory levels within the truck
  • Support administrative policies and assigned duties
  • Be willing to travel, as needed, to industry towing shows and expos
  • Pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
