Job description

Walking Delivery Team Member

Location: Chick-fil-A Tate Student Center at the University of Georgia

Do you enjoy being active, interacting with people, and providing exceptional customer service? Join our team as a Walking Delivery Team Member, where you'll help deliver Chick-fil-A meals to guests across the University of Georgia campus. Instead of driving a delivery vehicle, you'll travel on foot, ensuring every order is delivered quickly, accurately, and with genuine Chick-fil-A hospitality.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver customer orders by walking throughout the University of Georgia campus.
  • Verify each order is accurate before leaving the restaurant.
  • Provide friendly, professional service with every guest interaction.
  • Maintain delivery speed while ensuring food quality and presentation.
  • Communicate with restaurant leaders regarding delivery status or any issues that arise.
  • Assist with Front of House responsibilities between deliveries, including serving guests, preparing beverages, stocking supplies, dining room upkeep, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Follow all Chick-fil-A food safety and operational standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a heart for serving others.
  • Ability to walk several miles throughout a shift while carrying insulated delivery bags weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to navigate the University of Georgia campus efficiently or willingness to learn campus routes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with the University of Georgia campus is helpful.
