Job Title: Crew Lead / Tree Climber
Location: Castle Rock, CO (Service areas include Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Parker, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Sedalia, and surrounding areas)
Compensation: $28.00 to $36.00 per hour
Job Type: Full Time
About Us: We are a highly respected tree care company based out of Castle Rock, CO operating on five core values: Integrity, Safety, Teamwork, Life, and Faith. We are currently looking for a skilled Crew Lead and Tree Climber to take charge of our General Tree Care division. If you are a safety focused leader who loves being in the canopy and wants to work for a company that truly values its team, we want to hear from you.
The Role: As the Crew Lead and Tree Climber, you will be responsible for performing tree pruning and removals while leading a crew and maintaining a safe, efficient job site. You will be the boots on the ground commander for your daily projects across our service areas. This role requires strong climbing and rigging skills, leadership ability, and a strict commitment to safety and quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tree climbing, pruning, and removal work using proper rigging techniques.
  • Lead and support crew members on daily job sites, communicating clearly to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure safety procedures and company standards are followed at all times.
  • Operate and maintain tree care equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and bucket trucks.
  • Complete scheduled work orders efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and ensure customer properties are left in excellent condition.
  • Drive company trucks and manage daily site scheduling.

Qualifications:
  • 4 or more years of professional experience with tree climbing and pruning or removal work.
  • Strong knowledge of safe rigging and proper tree care practices.
  • Proven ability to safely operate a bucket truck.
  • CDL is highly preferred to operate our heavy fleet.
  • ISA Certified Arborist designation is preferred (or a strong willingness to obtain it).
  • Excellent leadership abilities, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to safety and teamwork.

Compensation: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
