We are a leading full-service rig moving company, providing comprehensive transportation, service work, and support for frac fleet moves across the oil and gas industry. Position Summary:
The Swamper is responsible for assisting with the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of rig moving and frac equipment at active job sites. This role works closely with drivers, operators, and riggers to support daily operations, maintain job site safety, and ensure equipment is handled properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with loading, unloading, and securing rig moving and frac equipment
  • Act as a ground guide for equipment operators during transport and staging operations
  • Organize, inspect, and maintain rigging equipment (chains, shackles, straps, tag lines)
  • Support rigging operations by staging and delivering necessary equipment to the crew
  • Use tag lines to help stabilize loads during lifting operations
  • Assist with rig mobilizations, demobilizations, and frac fleet moves
  • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and report any safety concerns
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times
  • Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure safe and efficient operations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a swamper or in a similar oil & gas field role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of rigging equipment and load handling practices is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to work in challenging environments, including uneven terrain

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule required, including extended hours, weekends, and overnight travel based on job demands
