Bilingual School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – In-Person | San Jose, CA
Celebrations Speech Group
is hiring a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)for an in-person, school-based assignment in San Jose. This position supports elementary-aged students within a collaborative and inclusive school environment.
Celebrations Speech Group is looking for a motivated, compassionate SLPA who is passionate about helping students build communication skills while working alongside a supportive Speech-Language Pathologist and multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Implement direct speech-language therapy and treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Document treatment sessions and progress reports accurately
  • Update student progress biannually
  • Assist with scheduling IEP meetings and maintaining speech files
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Active California SLPA License
  • Associate’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Strong ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, collaborative demeanor with a passion for working with diverse student populations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively
Compensation
  • $37–$47 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
