?? Position Responsibilities

? Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services
? Implement treatment plans and therapy activities
? Support students with speech, language, and communication goals
? Document student progress and maintain required records
? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff

? Qualifications

? Active Texas SLPA License/Certification
? School-based experience preferred
? Strong communication and organizational skills
? Passion for helping students achieve success

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program 
  • Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract
  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice 
  • Complies with all relevant  professional standards of  practice 
  • One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
