Job description

Step into a contract opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant school setting near Hixson, TN. As an SLPA, you'll help students succeed by supporting speech-language therapy services, collaborating with educators, and working closely under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLPA
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement therapy plans, document progress, and manage a dynamic caseload
  • Organizational skills and a collaborative team spirit
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as directed by a licensed SLP
  • Assist with assessments and data collection for student progress monitoring
