Job description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting student growth and communication as a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This opportunity is located near Edmond, OK and offers a flexible schedule, working 2-3 days per week in a school-based setting. You'll collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists to provide high-quality, individualized support for students' speech and language needs.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active SLPA licensure or certification in Oklahoma
  • Previous school-based experience as an SLPA is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with providing speech and language interventions in educational environments
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible caseload (to be determined)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to supporting a diverse student population
Responsibilities Include:
  • Implementing speech and language therapy activities as directed by supervising SLPs

  • Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with school policies
  • Assisting with preparation of therapy materials and managing session logistics
  • Participating in team meetings, IEP processes, and ongoing professional development as needed
