Job description

Are you interested in being a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Supervisor?

The Stepping Stones Group is hiring CCC-SLPs for HYBRID SLPA supervision with Republic R-III School District in Republic, MO.

The Stepping Stones Group provides you with unparalleled support and surrounds you with responsive and supportive clinical leaders. We will provide you with meaningful interactive opportunities and give you access to our exclusive content. 


Position Details:
The supervising SLP will be responsible for providing on-site and virtual supervision and support to a newly licensed SLPA. The SLP will provide two, full-day visits per month, minimum, on different days. Per MO state laws, The supervising SLP shall have the first initial contact with all patients/clients/students on the assistant's caseload, so the SLP will need full-time availability either the first week of school or the second.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the school setting as an ASHA Certified SLP
  • Maintains appropriate state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the entire supervisory experience
  • Completes at least two hours of professional development in the area of supervision after being awarded the CCC-SLP (SSG can provide if needed)  
Compensation: Our SLPs are paid a monthly stipend for supervision per SLPA that is supervised.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
