Job description

ARMED SECURITY GUARD

Federal Contract | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sites

CONTROLLED F.O.R.C.E., Inc., a leading Woman-Owned Small Business specializing in federal security services, is seeking highly qualified Armed Security Guards to support a multi-site U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contract. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Security Operations:

· • Provide armed security services at designated USACE industrial facilities

· • Conduct security patrols and maintain visible presence

· • Monitor and control access to government facilities and property

· • Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activities

· • Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation

Property Protection:

· • Observe and monitor removal of government property and equipment

· • Verify ENG Form 4900 documentation when government property is being removed

· • Record vehicle information, CAC credentials, and detailed descriptions of suspicious activities

· • Document the 5 W's (Who, What, When, Where, Why) in comprehensive incident reports

· • Photograph items being removed when appropriate for identification purposes

· • Report suspicious activities to Security Office by next business day

Communications & Coordination:

· • Maintain radio/cellular communication with team members, COR, Security Office, and Law Enforcement

· • Follow proper escalation procedures: (1) Project Manager, (2) COR, (3) Chief of Security, or 911 as warranted

· • Provide timely status updates and situation reports

· • Coordinate with government representatives as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory Requirements:

· • Must be a U.S. Citizen

· • Must be able to obtain and maintain required government credentials and background checks

· • Must possess valid state-issued armed security license/certification

· • Must pass Physical Agility Test (PAT) administered by contractor with COR oversight

· • Must qualify with assigned duty weapon using approved course of fire

· • Must possess valid driver's license

· • Must be able to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

· • Must be available for deployment to various USACE sites as assigned

Physical Requirements:

· • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods

· • Ability to respond quickly to security incidents

· • Must pass annual Physical Agility Test

· • Ability to operate security vehicles and equipment

TRAINING PROVIDED

You will receive comprehensive training at no cost, including:

· • Up to 40 hours of government-provided training annually

· • Government mandatory computer-based training courses

· • Weapons qualification training by qualified instructors

· • Equipment removal and property protection procedures

· • Incident report writing and documentation

· • Emergency response and escalation procedures

· • Communications protocols and systems

· • Specialized scenario-based training

EQUIPMENT PROVIDED

· • Security guard badge/badge patch (minimum of 2 per guard)

· • Communications equipment (radio/cellular)

· • Access to patrol vehicles equipped with bar-mounted safety lights and searchlights

· • All necessary duty equipment

WORK LOCATIONS

Multiple U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facilities. Specific site assignments will be discussed during the interview process. Some positions may require deployment to Mobile Security Unit (MSU) with limited sleeping quarters (maximum 5 guards unless additional positions exercised).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

· • Must be available for short-notice activations for emergencies

· • May be required to support special events (Engineers Day, Change of Commands, public meetings)

· • Must maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times

· • Must demonstrate sound judgment in equipment removal verification situations

· • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
