This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to enhance patient mobility and improve their quality of life through personalized care in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Organization

C.A.R.E Physical Therapy, PLLC is at the forefront of innovative rehabilitation techniques, providing a range of non-hospital-based services with a focus on sports medicine and orthopedic care. Our team of physical therapists is committed to delivering quality treatment that empowers clients to regain their strength and achieve their functional goals. By creating tailored rehabilitation plans, we identify and address the underlying causes of our patients’ discomfort and immobility, ensuring optimal recovery pathways.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite, primarily within the patient's home settings, allowing therapists to apply their skills in familiar environments. Our practice fosters a collaborative atmosphere where physical therapists work closely with other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated patient care. Your regular work hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a structured schedule conducive to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of each patient’s physical condition and individual needs to craft a customized treatment plan.
  • Implement a variety of effective treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional modalities, tailored specifically to each patient's goals.
  • Manage an appropriate patient caseload, ensuring that each patient receives attentive, individualized care without compromising quality.
  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing regular feedback and support to enhance their progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, for maintaining accurate and current documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest physical therapy research and techniques to deliver evidence-based interventions that foster effective recovery.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing treatments and adjust care plans as required based on patient progress and communication.
  • Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term wellness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily serve clients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injury recovery, and general mobility improvement. Many patients are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions, and the role requires sensitivity to the challenges they face in their daily lives. You will play a crucial role in supporting them as they regain confidence in their movements and improve their functional independence.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, with a current, active license to practice in New Jersey.
  • A clean professional record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Proficient in a variety of manual therapy techniques and possess strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy methodologies.
  • Ability to create and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to meet diverse patient needs.
  • Demonstrated skills in utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, to assist in maintaining accurate patient records.
  • A strong commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to learning new physical therapy techniques.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years in a clinical setting is preferred, candidates with exceptional skills and a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply, irrespective of experience level. Our organization values qualities such as empathy, adaptability, and an eagerness to contribute positively to patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include ongoing professional development opportunities, health insurance, flexible scheduling, and access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources to support your practice.
