The Opportunity
This is a true hunter role. Your primary responsibility is to generate new business, build a book of customers, and drive revenue.
You will have the autonomy to operate like an ownerโwith direct access to leadership, fast decision-making, and the ability to shape the future of the business.
What Youโll Do
New Business Development (Primary Focus)
- Prospect and secure new shipping customers
- Build and grow a consistent book of business
- Develop long-term relationships with shippers
Revenue Ownership
- Quote, negotiate, and close freight opportunities
- Manage margins and pricing strategy
- Grow revenue month-over-month
- Existing book of business is highly valued and will be compensated accordingly
Account Management
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
- Ensure high service levels to retain and grow accounts
Execution Support
- Work with internal team to cover freight
- Stay involved to ensure loads move successfully
What Weโre Looking For
- Proven ability to generate new business (preferred)
- Strong communication and closing skills
- Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Comfortable working in a performance-based environment
- Freight brokerage or logistics sales experience is a plus
Compensation Structure
- Base Salary: $50,000 โ $60,000
- Aggressive commission structure on gross margin
- Uncapped earning potential
Top performers will have the opportunity to scale earnings significantly as their book grows.

Tools & Technology
- Experience with TMS systems (McLeod, Truckstop, DAT, etc.)
- CRM usage (Salesforce or similar preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Excel and basic reporting
