Williams Logistical Services

Strafford, MO โ€ข On-site

$50K - $60K/yr

Full-time

Posted 3 days ago

Job description

About Us
Williams Logistical Services is a growing freight brokerage based in Southwest Missouri. We are rebuilding our operation with a focus on execution, accountability, and growth.

We are not looking for someone to maintain the status quoโ€”we are looking for someone to build.

The Opportunity
This is a true hunter role. Your primary responsibility is to generate new business, build a book of customers, and drive revenue.

You will have the autonomy to operate like an ownerโ€”with direct access to leadership, fast decision-making, and the ability to shape the future of the business.

What Youโ€™ll Do

New Business Development (Primary Focus)

  • Prospect and secure new shipping customers
  • Build and grow a consistent book of business
  • Develop long-term relationships with shippers

Revenue Ownership

  • Quote, negotiate, and close freight opportunities
  • Manage margins and pricing strategy
  • Grow revenue month-over-month
  • Existing book of business is highly valued and will be compensated accordingly

Account Management

  • Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
  • Ensure high service levels to retain and grow accounts

Execution Support

  • Work with internal team to cover freight
  • Stay involved to ensure loads move successfully

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Proven ability to generate new business (preferred)
  • Strong communication and closing skills
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Comfortable working in a performance-based environment
  • Freight brokerage or logistics sales experience is a plus

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: $50,000 โ€“ $60,000
  • Aggressive commission structure on gross margin
  • Uncapped earning potential

Top performers will have the opportunity to scale earnings significantly as their book grows.

Why This Role is Different

  • No corporate layersโ€”direct access to ownership
  • Real ability to build something from the ground up
  • Flexibility to move fast and win business
  • Clear path to leadership as the company grows
  • This role is measured by revenue growth, margin performance, and account retention

Tools & Technology

  • Experience with TMS systems (McLeod, Truckstop, DAT, etc.)
  • CRM usage (Salesforce or similar preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and basic reporting

Company Description

Small freight brokerage company started in 2023. We focus on moving construction goods across the country and to and from Canada.
