The Role
Too Lost is looking for A&R Research Interns to support our A&R team.
Too Lost is looking for two dedicated, passionate, and organized interns to support A&R Research and outreach. You will assist in trending research tasks while learning the ropes of artist scouting and administration.
What You'll Do
  • Complete daily deep-dives into various platforms to identify emerging artists and tracks with high growth potential.
  • Monitor domestic and international charts to spot "anomalies"-identifying rapid-growth signals and trends before they go mainstream.
  • Synthesize your research into clear weekly reports that summarize which artists are growing the fastest and why.
  • Maintain and update internal scouting lists, tracking sheets, and databases to ensure the A&R pipeline is accurate and organized.
  • Manage high-volume outreach lists, coordinate meeting agendas, and provide meticulous note-taking during internal strategy sessions.
  • Assist the team with the administrative requirements needed to ensure all project submissions are completed for timely distribution.
  • Assist in ensuring all project submissions meet strict administrative requirements for timely distribution.

What We're Looking For
  • Must be enrolled in a college or university and eligible for college credit
  • Preferred to work in person from either our LA or NY offices
  • Passionate/knowledgeable about music industry talent and trends
  • Strong work ethic and use of discretion with confidential matters
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with both internal and external teams
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under time restrictions without compromising integrity/quality of work
  • **Plus if you have experience with A&R research/data platforms such as Meddling, Indify, Luminate, & Chartmetric

Why Too Lost
Too Lost is a music distribution company rooted in creativity, collaboration, and a deep respect for the artists and teams we serve. Interns will have the opportunity to see how music projects move from strategy to execution and gain exposure to the many moving parts behind successful releases and partnerships. The goal is to offer an experience that is both educational and meaningful, with work that contributes to the team and helps interns build industry-relevant skills.
