  • Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
Responsibilities:
  • The Cat Scan Technologist will be responsible for performing Cat Scan diagnostic imaging and Cat Scan interventional procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
  • Prepare patients for scanning
  • Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered
  • Provide accurate explanations and instructions
  • Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines
  • Monitor the patientโ€™s physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 3 yearsโ€™ experience in CT scan.
  • Active and current New Jersey State Licenseโ€”NJDEP Radiologic Technologist.
  • Maintains CEU Credits.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) certification.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Associateโ€™s degree is Applied Science.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
