Job Description
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Project Management Analyst who will support government contracting operations by overseeing project tracking,financial analysis, and operational coordination. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, linemanagers, and clients.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management andplanning, project team, and line management.
  • Assist in developing contract required products to include technical directions plans, rough order of magnitude pricing andmanagement of the risk register.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting complex technical projects and or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with a functionally diverse team.
  • Strong working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices and compliance requirements.
  • Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Requirements
  • Clearance: Possess and maintains a Secret Clearance.
  • Project Management Professional or other project management certification.
  • Familiarity with DOD-specific project management methodologies, process and reporting tools such as MS Projects.
