Job description

Overview

R&P is looking for a Shipbuiding Acquisition / Contracts Analyst who wants to join our team supporting PMS 410. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a motivated and detailed oriented analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general acquisition and program management support.
  • Provide analysis, tracking, and reconciliation support for shipbuilding contracts.
  • Provide administrative support in development of Program Plans
  • Monitor and Maintain Program Schedules
  • Assists program office with providing detail oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies.
  • Provides support on procurement policies, regulations, and procedures that result in cost savings for the Government.
  • Provide contract pricing analysis (i.e. REAs and ECPs) acting as a liaison / intermediary between the technical community and cost esimating team.
  • Assist in the preparation of program/portfolio review documentation and other reoccurring meetings/briefs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years relevant experience in shipbuilding program/project management
  • Experience in DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process) and U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams and SharePoint environments.
  • Experience developing SES and Flag level briefs
  • Experience with DoD contracts (desired)
  • Active Secret clearance
