What are nannies?

Nannies are childcare professionals who provide personalized care and supervision for children in a family's home. They are responsible for ensuring the child's safety, preparing meals, organizing activities, helping with homework, and sometimes performing light housekeeping related to the children. Nannies often develop close relationships with the children they care for and can work either part-time or full-time, sometimes even living with the family. Their duties and qualifications can vary depending on the family's needs.

What are some common challenges nannies face when caring for children in a private household, and how can they address them?

Nannies often encounter challenges such as adapting to different parenting styles, managing multiple children with varying needs, and maintaining clear communication with parents. Building trust and establishing routines can help ease transitions and set expectations for both children and parents. Proactively discussing schedules, responsibilities, and any concerns with the family ensures a positive working relationship and a supportive environment for the children.
