Job Description:
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Customer Support Technician to join our IT team. This role provides both in-person and remote technical support for all enterprise hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, adaptable, and customer-focused professional who can troubleshoot, configure, and maintain IT resources in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and software systems
  • Provide technical support for video conferencing and audiovisual equipment (MS Teams Rooms, Zoom, GoToMeeting)
  • Monitor and maintain systems using tools like Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Identify hardware, software, or network issues, and implement solutions efficiently
  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, installations, and IT asset tracking
  • Collaborate with IT team members on projects, initiatives, and process improvements
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to urgent IT requests
  • Travel to remote locations as needed to provide support
  • Lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs) safely

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) preferred
  • Experience in enterprise IT support or similar environment
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Familiarity with video conferencing platforms and audiovisual equipment
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable performing in high-pressure situations

Additional Requirements
  • Must be reachable via a company-provided smartphone with data service compliant with FDOT security requirements
  • Able to keep software and mobile applications up to date, including Outlook, Teams, and ServiceNow
  • Flexible to work onsite within core hours (7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Mon-Fri)
