ResponsibilitiesThis position will be a member of the IS, Clinical Informatics team and work alongside leaders and key stakeholders to achieve Piedmont's strategic, technical, clinical and operational goals. The analyst will provide support for Clinical Informatics, Clinical Decision Support, Usability & System Application Training (USAT) and other areas as assigned. The analyst will be responsible for advancing analytic and reporting capabilities to support strategic priorities including, but not limited to EMR Optimization, Clinical Quality, Provider/Clinician Efficiency, and Satisfaction. The Analyst will conduct analyses to identify insights and opportunities for improvement, design data solutions and produce reports and dashboards to measure program performance. The Analyst will stay up to date with industry innovations, trends and new technologies and will identify opportunities to improve reporting and analytics processes. The analyst also partners with key stakeholders and leaders to develop other tools, resources, and presentations to support the achievement of Clinical Informatics, USAT, and IS Initiatives. The Analyst will maintain strict confidentiality with all patient, employee and company information. A successful Business Analyst will possess and demonstrate strong analytical ability, team collaboration, and strong communication skills.QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Nursing or closely-related field Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred
Work Experience
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare organization or a healthcare consulting practice involving information services, informatics, project management, consulting, analytics, informatics, business development or a closely related field Required
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and database platforms Required
  • Tableau experience Preferred
  • Epic experience Preferred
  • Work experience in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, Epic experience Preferred
