Seasonal Health Professional Needed for Summer Residential Camp in Vermont, Circus Smirkus Circus Smirkus, aka Circus Barn, is seeking a Camp Health Professional who serves as a trusted caregiver and essential member of the Leadership Team. This role will champion the physical health, emotional well-being, and safety of our circus campers and staff. From managing daily medications to providing first aid under the big top, the Health Professional will ensure our community remains healthy, supported, and ready for circus life. Scheduling Options for this position are: Full time live on campus, room & board included Full time, commute from Orleans county or the surrounding area, lunch included Part time, morning shifts Mon-Fri or afternoon shifts Mon-Fri Shift workers, Mon - Fri, 8-12 and 2-5:30 Compensation $1,200wk / $30hr from June 15 thru June 20 and again July 4 thru Aug 8, 2026. Key responsibilities include health screenings, medical records, developing and executing daily medication schedules for campers and staff, providing first aid and basic medical care when necessary, maintaining a camp and supportive wellness space, serving as liaison between camp and families regarding health, administrative duties such as medical logs, accident reports and orders, maintaining supplies, and ensuring protocols are in alignment with state health guidelines. Essential qualifications include current nursing certification (RN preferred), proven experience in first aid or medical care with athletic, youth or camp environments, expert knowledge in medication administration and dispensing protocols, exceptional listening and problem solving skills, and collaborative work style suited for a high-energy, communal residential setting.
