At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a passionate Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team (RCM).
This isn't just a job - you will be influencing the patient experience and shaping the organization one claim at a time in our shared mission of helping individual's reach their full potential.
Your Role in Our Mission
As a Billing Specialist on the team, your days will be filled with meaningful work that helps drive the patient experience! Some of the meaningful work you would do would be preparing and submitting accurate claims to payers for the appropriate service lines daily, maintain billing documentation, and support claim follow-up activities to promote clean claim submission and timely reimbursement. You would follow up on unpaid and denied claims and reconcile accounts all the while ensuring compliance with billing regulations and coding guidelines.

What We're Looking For
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience billing Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
Experience interpreting explanation of benefits (EOBs)
Skills: organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependability is a must!
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
• Valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel
