Anesthesiology Opportunity In Las Vegas

OptumCare Anesthesia has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist in Las Vegas. OptumCare is a multi-specialty group of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants headquartered in the greater Las Vegas area. Job Highlights:

  • Monday through Friday schedule. No nights, weekends, holidays or call responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia for general surgical cases, minor orthopedics with occasional nerve blocks, gastroenterology sedation, ophthalmology, dental surgery and gynecological cases. No OB or open heart.
  • Assessment of, consultation for, and preparation of patients for anesthesia
  • Relief and prevention of pain during and following surgical, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the State of Nevada or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Must have a valid DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment
