POSITION SUMMARY:

The Loader Operator operates the front end loader and other heavy equipment for our underground crews. This position plays a critical role in the success of our projects!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively, skillfully, safely, and accurately operates a front end loader and other construction equipment
  • Completes proper equipment inspections prior to use to ensure that it is in proper operating condition
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations
  • Meet production goals from the direction of the site Foreman or Superintendent
  • Signals directions and warnings to crew members at the work site
  • Works with crew members when not operating equipment
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned
  • Adheres to all DCS Contracting safety policies, procedures, and instructions from management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years' experience operating front end loaders required or equivalent combination of experience and training/education
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA standards and requirements
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to learn and accept direction from field supervision
  • Must be a team player and be willing to help out wherever is needed for the success of the project
  • Safety first mindset, MUST stop work if something is unsafe
  • Reliable transportation and work schedule flexibility
  • Ability to get the job done with minimal supervision

This is a Safety Sensitive position.

Must be willing and able to drive within a 60+ mile radius from DCS's office to and from assigned job site.
