 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based

  •  10-Month Schedule (August–May)

We are seeking a collaborative and motivated SLP to support K–12 students with developmental disabilities — including AAC users — in a dynamic school-based setting in the Phoenix area.

This is an opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying a predictable school-year schedule and summer break.

 What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy in classroom and small-group settings
  • Conduct evaluations, write reports, and develop IEPs
  • Program, monitor, and maintain AAC devices
  • Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs, and families to integrate communication goals across environments
  • Track student progress and complete required Medicaid billing
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings

You’ll play a key role in helping students improve communication, classroom participation, and overall functional independence.

 What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Arizona SLP License
  • Arizona Department of Education Certificate
  • Ability to obtain AHCCCS number & NPI for Medicaid billing
  • AZ Hearing Screening Certificate (preferred)
  • Strong AAC knowledge and collaboration skills

 Work Environment

  • School-based setting serving K–12 students
  • Active, engaging days working directly with students

  • Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance)

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
