Description
Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician (0.8 FTE) to join the Pharmacy Department! Responsibilities include providing assistance and support to the pharmacists in all distribution operations of the Pharmacy Department as authorized by the State of Wisconsin Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. This service shall be in compliance with hospital and pharmacy policies and procedures along with all other legal requirements. Pharmacy Technicians will have knowledge of the patient populations served at WWH and will apply that knowledge to the care of those patients. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willing to obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification within 1 year of employment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information
  • Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently

Work Schedule:
  • 0.8 FTE - 64 hours per bi-weekly pay period
  • Day time hours with staggered start times
  • Weekend and Holiday rotation
