Job Title: Forklift Operator
Department: Operations
Reports To: General Manager
Position Type: Full Time
Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm - Monday - Friday
Wage: $18.00 + $1.50 shift diff per hour when applicable

Purpose of Position:
Operate power equipment to safely handle product while performing receiving and/or shipping processes. Ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all material handling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
  • Use RF scan devices to track inventory and ensure accuracy.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customer-specific instructions.
  • Complete required documentation (receiving tickets, pick lists, load reports).
  • Inspect inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and daily stretching routines.

  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

  • Complete all paperwork accurately and thoroughly.

  • Develop knowledge across multiple functions within the operation.
