As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with clients through fun and engaging activities that help the client's everyday life, such as painting, pottery, sewing, outings, and so much more! DSP Responsibilities:

  • Encourage clients to engage in day activities, outings, and community inclusion.
  • Be engaged throughout the day with clients in activities or community outings.
  • Assist clients in personal care such as toileting, changing briefs, occasionally bathing, feeding, and preparing meals as needed.
  • Transfer clients using appropriate body mechanics and assistive equipment.
  • Assist in meeting the transportation needs of clients including, assisting in loading, and unloading of clients in a safe and reliable manner.
  • Complete required documentation for assigned clients.

DSP Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience working with clients who need assistance with personal care.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to use electronic devices, including databases and internet-based applications.

Essential Physical Functions
